The Invisible...MAN!

Today's project was the invisible man. I had a picture of a man on a couch then I used Photoshop magic to remove his hands and head. To do this magic I got parts of the inside of his sleeve and blended them together with masks to get rid of the hands. Then I used the patch tool to get rid of the head. Added to the parts of the pants to remove more parts of the hand. Finally I added parts of the couch to make it look like he is sitting invisibly on the couch. Next project coming soon.

Self Retouching Before and After

 Before

This project's objective was to do some retouching on a recent photo I took in Visual Design. I used the spot healing tool to remove some acne on my face. I smoothened out some parts of my skin, sharped my eyes and some parts of my hair. I added more shadows to darker areas of the picture and lightened some bright areas of the picture. Even though I'm not insecure about my appearance, I must say I look a lot better. Next project coming soon.

Percy Jackson and The... DVD Cover?!

Today's project is a follow up on the Raven. I choose one of my favorite books and made it into a DVD and DVD case. I used an actions template that created the shadows and placement of the images from the cover to the spine. This was really useful and acted as somewhat of an un timed macro for Photoshop. Next project coming soon.

The Raven

Today's project was a recreation of The Raven's cover. I used various Pictures and changed them to fit the needs of the design. Lighting was the key element into making this really stand out and look as if it was drawn by hand.

Later I added my recreated image on to a CD/DVD plastic case because I was to lazy to buy a case and put the picture in it :P. To do this I adjusted the picture to match the plane of view the case was placed in. Then masked out the holders so that the picture looks as if it was placed inside the case. Next project coming soon.

Dream Skin...

Today's project that i have been working on for the past week is called dream skin. The objective was to change a girls face into to something of a fantasy character.I used various metal textures and hennas to change the face into something new. This project was pretty straight forward and overall pretty interesting.
